INFORMATION ON MCCSN NON-PROFIT STRUCTURING MCCSN is a volunteer 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations made to MCCSN are tax deductible. Contributions may be made in honor or in memory of loved ones. MCCSN is not affiliated with, nor does it receive funds from any type of national organization; we also receive no funds from any type of government organization. Monies obtained by MCCSN come primarily through the Walk-a-thon held in September of each year. Other fundraisers include an annual pancake breakfast held at Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma, TN, with matching funds up to $800 by the A.A.L. A substantial amount of money is donated to MCCSN through memorials and in honor of members of the organization. All of the money raised by MCCSN and donated to MCCSN remains within the eight county service area and is used to fund the services provided to cancer patients, as well as fund administrative expenses, ie. the office, and the monthly newsletter.
