WAYS TO SUPPORT MCCSN

MCCSN's funding comes 100% from the surrounding community, and most all of that money goes right back to patients in the lower middle Tennessee area.  We have very low administrative costs because we have only one paid staff member, and that is our office manager.  This position is necessary because of the large volume of help requests that we constantly have to coordinate.  All other time is donated by our wonderful volunteers.

Your monetary and time donations are a precious resource to us.  Case in point: we help so many people out with financial needs that by the time our walkathon comes around in September, we are almost tapped out of monetary resources.  So every dime that we collect is vital to our cause.

The Annual Walkathon

As mentioned before, the annual walkathon is a vital source of income for MCCSN.  Without it, very few patients could be financially aided.  Organize a team in your area.  It cost $50 per person to walk.  One way of paying for this is to get a business to sponsor you as a walker.  Teams can be named in honor or memory of a loved one or even with the name of the supporting business or organization.

Also, honorary luminaries can be purchased in the name of a loved one who has been affected by cancer.  These luminaries are placed around the stadium and lit during the Friday night memorial ceremony.

Volunteering Your Time To MCCSN

If you ever thought about lending a hand to your community, think about volunteering with MCCSN.  There are many opportunities to help in driving patients to treatments, visiting the sick, and helping to organize the annual walkathon.

Making Donations To MCCSN

To make a donation or memorial contribution to MCCSN, mail your check to MCCSN, P.O. Box 225, Winchester, TN 37398. Make a note as to who the memorial is from; to whom it is in memory or honor of; and to whom an acknowledgement should be sent.  If you like, you can use this printable form.
