Meeting Customers 2001/10/07 0 comments Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Blanton, a customer here at Computer Cafe. He was a very pleasant customer and I enjoyed speaking with him. He gave me his web page, which is a tribute to his wife who lost her fight with ovarian cancer. http://www.cafes.net/joeblanton/ Aside from this, Joe told me that he was running a program called UD. This program is similar to Seti@home; it uses spare computing cycles to make a sort of "super computer." Instead of ET, UD searches for the cure for cancer. There has to be a more technical way to say that... Anyway, I took it upon myself to install this software on 5 computers here at work today.
