Just back from watching the Leonid Meteor Shower. Misty estimates we saw about 30 shooting stars, I say 50. Forty sounds good to both of us. One truly spectacular one blew up in the atmosphere and left a glowing ring for several minutes. The rest were faintly visible to near spectacular. Props to the MSCC Security Task Force. Without your prompt action, certain stargazers would have been able to enjoy their night. It was quick thinking to drive 5 miles an hour across a parking lot towards my car with your brights on AFTER our eyes had adjusted to the darkness, and once past, not stop to question or talk, but to train a menacingly tiny pocket flashlight on my face. You saved the day.
