Passion is surely enough to create a child. Passion dies though, and then you have to raise your child with a spouse that you don't love, or isn't present.
What is the use of passion then?

It's just another one of those threads that gets woven into your being. Or some strain of 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'.

That is why relationships should not be built primarily on Passion. It is an important component, but usually doesn't suffer the wrath of time. Friendship and trust should be foundations upon which everything else should be built.
