I am an athiest. I don't believe in Jesus. I celebrate a holiday however, on December 25th that is my own. I have named this holiday Christmas, quite conveniently to coincide with another pre-existing holiday on the same day with the same name. The premise is different. My Christmas is a celebration. An excuse to party, and partake, to give and to get and to be with your community, both family and friends.
And I sacrificed this... So I can work. And even before I was inside the building I was yelled at by some foolish human. All during the day were unhappy people unwilling to wait in their respective lines. Below is an actual conversation: Me: You can't wait at the register sir. I'll have your prescription ready in 20 minutes, you can shop or have a seat and I'll let you know when it's ready. Dumbass: I'll just wait here. Me: I can't see people in line behind you and they won't get waited on. Dumbass: I'll get out of the way. Me: You're facing the wrong way, you can't see them! Dumbass: Smartass!
Anyway, my point is, don't bite the hand that feeds you. I sacrificed being with my family and friends today and got nothing but grief, and a fat paycheck for it. Hope you get what you deserve, I know I did.
