I finally got my cell phone data cable drivers to work. I'm hacking my cell phone! If you have trouble finding the drivers for an LG USB Modem for your Verizon phone, look here, if you're unable to download them there, do a google for the filename.

Yo, dude... Felicia got a new cell phone. Switched from a Samsung (I think?) to a razor. Verizon didna tell her till AFTER the deal had gone through that she couldn't transfer her pictures, ring tones, all that stuff, onto her new phone. Can the hackmaster hack it?

She'll have to get some hardware first. Does she have a USB cable for her old phone? If not she'll need one, here's a link for the data cable she'll need for the Razor. I'll need to locate drivers for (both of?) the phones and properly install them. This is the most difficult part. From there provided there are not software incompatibility issues that I can't overcome it should be about as simple as a file transfer. I would suggest to her that instead of copying the stuff off her old phone just have her text all her pictures to her email address. From there it's easy to use any MP3 in her posession as a ringtone - as opposed to those shitty MIDIs and MODs that they sell to you for inflated prices. I find it interesting that they lock you out of all the advanced functions that should be available and then charge you when you use them. That's like selling someone a car, but charging them every time they put it in reverse.
