Over the next few weeks I will be revisiting some of the old photo albums. This will give me a chance to update some of the format and add comments to the pages. It also makes it look like I'm coming up with fresh content when I'm really not. So get ready to travel back in time to that wacky year, 1997.
Many people have asked me about The Mach 5 Incident over the years. It was the first content I hosted on my web page other than my art, and it was popular.
But what was really happening that day? Jordan's car was named the Mach (that's the red Nova in the background). Jordan had the tendency to drive really slow, so Bo Dorris and I told him that if he drove the speed limit for an extended period of time he would get a tenth of a point added to the name of his car. He was at Mach 2 something when the car left his posession. Being the great friend I am I talked him into participating so that his car could be called the Mach 5. I grabbed the phone and called everyone I could. The people pictured were those who were not working or otherwise producing excuses to avoid me.
He didn't know I would put it on the Internet.

Each of the pictures seems to have alot that the viewer can try to infer, such as "Why does Stubbs seem to have such a look of disgust in the 2nd pic?". I can imagine you explaining to everyone why you had them come over, and that look sums up their reaction. Foretunately, everyone seems to be in much better spirits after someone decides I can't make it to the backyard myself without assistance.
The last one is my favorite, everyone seems to be deep in thought analyzing my situation in a "Well,-Pooh-has-his-head-stuck-in-a-honeyjar-again" way.

What was it that let me do that to you? You're a good friend.
