During the hike Stubs was unlucky enough to have been struck (at) by the copperhead pictured below. We were all lucky that he wasn't wounded as it would have meant me carrying his short butt up the mountain.

Great shots. I especially like the orange sky shot from Carl's place. Very cool.

Well, even if the copperhead had a low enough THAC0 to to make it through Stubb's AC, he probably would have passed his save vs. poison.

We all play MnM, which uses a toughness save instead of hit points. So, as I stated after the incident (great minds think alike) that it hit Stubs defense, but he made his toughness save and didn't take damage. You're right, he would have made his fort save vs. poisen - either that or I would have had to throw him on my back and carry him 3 more miles up a mountain. Which I think I could have done if the situation required, but I wouldn't hade made it to work much this week from the soreness.

beautiful pictures why don't you ever bring those to work instead of trying to catch us in monstrous poses????

It's a good thing you didn't have to try to carry him up the mountain; the 7 Str attribute your parents rolled when you were born meant after about 30 ft you'd collapse from exhaustion resulting in 1d6 stun damage to you both (1d4 for Stubbs if he passes a Dex check to lessen the fall).
And who cares about the Nacha pics, why aren't you putting up said shots of monstrous pharmacy techs?

Stubs almost always makes his toughness save...why do you think we let him go first? That and his 'spontaneous attribute.'

Remember, we specificly said he was the scout at the beginning of the hike. He just didn't realize spot was a class skill.

Here's the forum at UBC Botanical Garden where I've requested someone to try and ID the spiral fungus.

Mercy?! You wanted Mercy?! I'm Chaotic Nuetral!!!
Do you guys L.A.R.P. when playing MnM?
Chuck - 7/17/2006 05:35:00 AM
No, LARP is considered a foul word and we do not speak of it. You trying to get in on some LARPing? I love that video, you used my favorite line from it. I'm still looking for the chance to say it in a DnD setting.

I figured for MnM, I could LARP after rolling a character called The Invisible Man. Then everytime I activate my mutant power, I would take off all my clothes. Or even better, I could roll X-Ray Vision Man, and when I activate my power the GM and all of the other players present have to take off their clothes.
