From the page: "Southern Spirit Seekers Paranormal Investigations is a local organization which is based in White County Tennessee. We are devoted to the investigation, study, and documentation of paranormal phenomena activity. We are made up of professional, mature adults who live in the area and who take paranormal seriously. "Many of our investigators have years of experience in the paranormal field. We only incorporate real science, logical deduction, and skepticism when searching for this truth.
Well, isn't that cute? It's one thing to have fun trying to scare yourself and your friends - but to bring science along and drag its name through the mud is simply not acceptable. I wonder if they will allow me to volunteer my services?

I'd hope they'd let you in. The Atlantic Paranormal Society TAPS (Ghost Hunters on SciFi) does the same thing. They are plumbers through the day & hunt for ghosts through the night. From what I've seen they're able to show scientific explanations for most of the things they've been asked to investigate. Makes the unexplainable even cooler. :)

I got an email back from them to setup a phone interview. I've watched Ghost Hunters - I think I could be more objective than they are. On the show I've seen blatantly misinterpreted data and apparantly staged events. I don't buy it. They should let Penn and Teller ride with them. :-)

This thread should last a while.
Reading their rules, I think they need to expand upon Never investigate alone! Always investigate in pairs to also include Never 'split up', especially by saying "I'll be right back", and Never have sex while investigating.
Maybe they should consider hiring a black person, to have as a decoy, since black people never survive a horror movie, except maybe Samuel L Jackson (we'll have to wait & see on that one).
Also, P & T BS is awesome.

SLJ said on the Daily Show that he doesn't die cause he's the MFing hero. Only I think he used more explitives. He did die in Deep Blue Sea.
I think this one needs more explanation: You agree to hold no member of S.S.S. liable for damages to your person, your property, or whatever mind you have.

I chalked that one up to dry (or bad) humor.
Always bring up back up batteries. Spirits love to play with us and they drain our batteries often.
I can't wait to die an untimely death! Then I could be an orb that drains people's batteries! O, what awesome, glorious power!
