At the doorstep of Summer 2007/04/23 0 comments I am sunburned, poison ivy-ed, foot blistered, cut, scratched, and bruised all over. This was the best weekend ever! We hiked around 10 miles, climbed up two mountains (Whitetop and Stone Mountain), and I collected about 30 lbs worth of rocks. I'll try and have some of the scenic, and personal interest pictures up in the next week. As for now, I'm putting together my field notebook, compiling, sorting, a beautifying data. I can't help but think of this as a scrap-booking project. It's my plan that I will go hiking or biking every day this summer that I'm not at work.
