The first two pictures are from the summit of Sunset Rock, the remaining few are all taken around the Lost Creek community, in White County Tennessee.
Last week my apartment manager called me just as I was getting out of work. The details of our conversation are classified but I was informed of an altercation that had occurred in adjacent apartment the night prior. Since I have watched the local news for details, here we have them.
The robbers stole $2 in cash
COOKEVILLE -- Two men wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery here on Friday have been arrested, police said.
The two, Walter Dean Stafford, 22, of W. Cemetery Road, Cookeville, and Randall Brent Allen, 23, of Bradley Dr., Cookeville, were arrested yesterday by Jackson County Sheriff's officers in that county, according to Cookeville Police Detective Sgt. James Lane.
Also, Detective Lane said today that a photo he was provided from law enforcement records of suspect Stafford was actually a photo of Stafford's brother. That photo was published in the Monday edition of the Herald-Citizen, along with a photo of suspect Allen.
"The files I took from (law enforcement records) contained an incorrect identification on the Stafford photo which I was using on Monday," Detective Lane said.
"Apparently, that was a relative of his, but now that he has been arrested I can certainly see that he is not the person in that photo."
Detective Lane said Jackson County deputies picked up the two suspects and brought them to Putnam County authorities yesterday and said Officer Tammy Goolsby served robbery warrants on the two at the Putnam jail.
A third suspect in the case, Kristina Marie Gore, 19, of Baxter, was arrested over the weekend.
The three are accused of robbing a Winston Drive man in his home at 4:48 a.m. Feb. 2.
A woman knocked on the door there, and when the resident opened the door, he was attacked by two men. Allegedly, one man had a gun and one had a baseball bat.
The robbers stole $2 in cash and a cell phone, police said.
All three suspects were jailed and their bond set at $50,000 each. They are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on March 12.
It's been cold here in Tennessee for the last few days. I took advantage of this and got out to take some pictures. In chronological order you will see sunset from Pilot's Knob, some stuff around my apartment, Burgess Falls, icicles from Bon Aire mountain and sunset from Sunset Rock. In regards to Burgess Falls all of the ice shots were from tributaries to the larger river. Here's some information about Burgess Fall's history (part 1 and part 2), and geology (part 1 and part 2 (incomplete, sorry!)). Here's some info on the geologic formations that comprise the falls.
I was asked by someone to show how to post videos from YouTube onto Myspace. This assumes you know how to find the embed code on YouTube's page.
The way that YouTube presents it's embed remarks works great for most pages, but MySpace doesn't read some of the tags properly. To get around that you can edit out some of the code.
For example, let's take The day after a party with LOTS of beer... video and look at the embed code for it:

To make this MySpace friendly, we're going to take out the tags <object> and <param>, like this:

It should now post fine without and dangling tags and curious ...'s.
