Dial-Up Networking Could Not Negotiate a Compatible Set of Network Protocols
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Double-click on Control Panel.
- Double-click on Network.
- In the Configuration Tab, click on TCP/IP, then click Remove.
- Click on Add, Select Protocol, then click Add once more.
- Select Microsoft on the left, then TCP/IP on the right, and finally Ok.
- You will be returned to the Network Window. Click Ok and you will be asked to restart   your computer. Select Yes and restart.

Error 691: Username - Password Error
Most username and/or password errors are simply typos. Always check that your CAPS LOCK key is off when typing your username or password to connect to Computer Café. Usernames do not contain punctuations, capital letters (lower-case only), or "@cafes.net"
There is No Dial Tone
- Check to make sure you have a working phone line plugged into the modem.
- Check phone cord for kinks, twists, or breaks (these can cause interruptions in the   signal).
- Make sure the line is plugged in correctly. You may have to consult your modem   documentation.
- Double-check the phone line by plugging a normal phone into it. Make sure you hear a   dial tone.
Voice or Operator Heard When Dialing the Computer Cafe
- Double-click on My Computer.
- Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
- Right-click on the Computer Cafe icon, select Properties.
- In the blank for "Telephone Number," place the correct phone number that you wish to   dial.
- When putting in the number, remember to leave out the area code (disable "Use   Dialing Properties) and do not use hyphens or spaces in the number.
- After you have replaced the number, click Ok.
- The telephone number has been changed.
