Love Children? Interesting in sharing your Faith? Consider becoming a volunteer within the teaching ministry. No previous experience is necessary, simply a desire to share your Catholic faith. Please remember that without our volunteers, we cannot have a religious education program. For more information, contact the church office, 931-723-4107.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Classes are on Thursdays at 6:30 P.M.
RCIA is a period of preparation and instruction to help inquirers discern whether they are called to the Catholic life. What are some things that might happen in RCIA? Based on surveys done by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, you may experience some or all of the following:
GROW closer to God and experience conversion.
BECOME a part of the parish life and mission.
ANSWER your questions about the Catholic faith.
DISCUSS concerns about the Catholic faith.
GROW through faith-sharing and prayer with the group.
GROW in knowledge of the sacraments, scripture and prayer.
GROW in knowledge of Catholic teachings.
RCIA may bring these results and so much more. For more information about RCIA, please contact LaVerne Fults at 931-728-9490.
