The 10th Anniversary Celebration of Saint Mark Church was truly awesome! Over 100 parishioners attended. Tables and chairs were set up in the entire kitchen area, across the narthex and in the room between the office and the old cry room and people occupied all the seats. What a great way to say "GLORY TO GOD!" Potter's Clay wishes to express our sincere thanks to all who contributed work, energy, time, talent, cooking, and all kinds of service. Most of all we thank all the members of Saint Mark Church who attended and those who wished to attend, but were unable to. SAINT MARK PARISH IS SO RICHLY BLESSED! LET'S ALL THANK GOD!
The Altar Society is thankful for many successful Rummage Sales in the past 10 years. With the proceeds, they have purchased many useful items for the church, such as the Christmas tree, flower arrangements, and outdoor shrubbery. They have also purchased a power washer, ladder, trimmer/edger, mailbox, sidewalk on the kitchen side of church, and two tables. The Altar Society also provides funeral meals for our parishioners.
The Potter's Clay meeting is on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the church kitchen. For more info, contact Kay Janosik at 931-394-2977. The group meets once a month to discuss projects in our community.
