Extra Ending to Email Addresses
Netscape Messenger (Netscape 4.x) will place endings to e-mail addresses when you type them in a new message (i.e. someone@cafes.net).
After you type the address, it automatically places @cafes.net at the end of the address (i.e. someone@hotmail.com@cafes.net).
This, of course, is an incorrect email address. To correct this, simply:
- With Netscape 4.x open, click Edit and select Preferences.
- Under the Mail & Newsgroups section, select Addressing.
- Under When There are Multiple Addresses Found, select Accept What I Have Typed.
- Click Ok. You have corrected the problem.
