Joyce Elaine MCGONIGAL (daughter of Luther Riley MCGONIGAL and Shirley MAGEE) was born on Apr 20 1945 in Doniphan Ripley County Missouri. She graduated in May 1963 in Doniphan Ripley County Missouri. Graduated from Doniphan High School.
She received a degree in Elementary Education (Bachelor of Science) in May 1967 in Jackson Tennessee (Lambuth College). She received a degree in Elementary Education (Masters Degree) in May 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee from Memphis State University. She died on Jan 19 1996 in Nashville Tennessee at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Cause of death, stroke. She was buried on Jan 22 1996 in West Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery McNairy County Tennessee. She was ill with Ovarian Cancer April 1992 - January 1996. She was an Elementary School Teacher August 1967 - January 1996 in Doniphan, Missouri - Jackson and Tullahoma, Tennessee. Joyce taught many years as a first grade teacher but also taught second, fourth and fifth grades. Joe Neal BLANTON and Joyce Elaine MCGONIGAL had the following children:
