Henry Ether Blanton and Ola Bertha Case were married in a house located on Shiloh National Military Park just south of the Peach Orchard and near the Hornets' Nest Road. They had moved away to other places but had moved back when their son Joe Neal was born in that same house in 1944.

She was married to Henry Ether BLANTON (son of William Tilman BLANTON and Mary Elizabeth PICKENS) on Jan 18 1920 in Hardin County Tennessee on Shiloh National Military Park. ⁽¹¹⁾ Henry Ether BLANTON ^(10)(10) was born on Feb 25 1899 in Decatur County Tennessee.

Dad loved Gospel Music, attending many all day singings with dinner on the ground. He led the singing at West Shiloh Baptist Church from 1923 until 1939.
